Lead/Lead-Based Paint

Lead has been mined and used for thousands of years. Its popularity may be attributed to its versatility, as well as its favorable physical and chemical properties. While lead is present in the Earth’s crust, the greatest risk of exposure to lead comes from man-made processes and products. Common sources of lead exposure include lead-based paint, urban soil (contaminated from leaded gasoline, paint and industrial sources) and drinking water contaminated by lead pipes.

Services Offered:

  • Lead-Based Paint Inspection, Risk Assessments and Sampling
  • Lead-Based Paint XRF Scan
  • Lead Air Area Monitoring
  • Lead Dust Wipe Clearance Sampling
